How long does the barrel soaking take?

If your barrel is kept under recommended conditions at 10-12 ºC and 65-75 % humidity, the soaking will take 1-2 days. If you kept your barrel in a dryer or warmer place for a month, the wood will dry out, resulting in gaps, which may take as long as 5 days to fix.
