  • We offer smoking wood chunks for Kamado and other grills for the best quality and price ratio. We produce the wood chunks from used American whiskey and bourbon or French red wine barrels. We use only freshly-emptied oak barrels and cut them into chunks ourselves thus making sure that our smoking wood is fresh, of highest quality and will deliver a strong aroma.

    Whiskey barrels wood for smoking

    These wood chunks are made of American oak whiskey and bourbon barrels. Suitable for use with various grills, they will add a special aroma and a stronger flavour to food, as if merging the sweetness and sharpness of whiskey in your mouth. The wood is made of freshly-emptied whiskey and bourbon barrels, so it’s not necessary to soak them, unless your package was left open for a while. You’ll sense the intensive whiskey aroma as soon as you open the bag, as if someone was pouring a glass of whiskey right out of the barrel. Use a few (1-2 might be enough) chunks of wood per batch, depending on the intensity of flavour you want to achieve. Great for meat, fish, vegetables, cheeses, etc. to intensify their flavour.

    These wood chunks are made of French oak red wine barrels. Suitable for use with various grills, they will add a gentle aroma and a special flavour to your food. This smoking wood is made of freshly-emptied red wine barrels, so it’s not necessary to soak them, unless your package was left open for a while. The intensive aromas of wine can make you feel as if you’re taking part at a wine tasting in the vineyards of Provence as soon as you open the package. Use a few (1-2 might be enough) chunks of wood per batch, depending on the intensity of flavour you want to achieve. Great for meat, fish, vegetables, cheeses, etc. for more interesting yet softer flavours.

    How do you use Kamado smoking chunks?

    Kamado smoking wood can be used for both hot and cold smoking. Put it directly on the coal and close the grill. Soon you will notice the unfolding smells. The amount of wood depends on the intensity of the flavours you want to achieve. We suggest 2 chunks for small amounts of food. Keep the package tightly closed in a dry place.
