These wood chunks are made of French oak red wine barrels. Suitable for various grills. Enhance your food with a smooth aroma and flavour.
This smoking wood is made of freshly-emptied red wine barrels, so it’s not necessary to soak them, unless your package was left open for a while. The intensive aromas of wine can make you feel as if you’re taking part at a wine tasting in the vineyards of Provence as soon as you open the package.
Use a few (1-2 might be enough) chunks of wood per batch, depending on the intensity of flavour you want to achieve. Great for meat, fish, vegetables, cheeses, etc. for more interesting yet softer flavours.
