The wooden cork is swollen, how do I get it out?

Tap the cork with your palm on one side, then another and repeat the same procedure on all sides. Then screw the cork counter-clockwise and try to get it out. The next time, do not push the cork in too hard – listen for the first light crack – as the wood swells.
